Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States

NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This represents a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This is a 13% improvement from 2019.

"It is thrilling to once again see an increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels for the year 2019" said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States remains our most important market for Israel-bound tourism.  נווה פריצקי Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 there was a record-breaking number of monthly numbers of tourists entering the country. We are delighted to witness this change and are expecting a steady upward trend for months, and possibly years.

Canada is set to beat Israel's tourism arrivals by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

Israel received more tourists from all over the world in the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of these were American. Israel's official reopening to all tourists was in May of 2018. Israel has been home to more than 600,400 US travelers since then.
