Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- In July and August 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of tourist arrivals from America. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022, an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That's a 13% increase over 2019.

Canada is in the process, as the United States, to surpass the number of tourists who visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada had 7,200 visitors while August saw the number increase to 6,000.

"We are not far off our record 2019 numbers and we anticipate that the growth in the number of travelers to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians continue to feel more confident about traveling internationally."
