Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry From the United States

NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -Record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This is a four percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% over the year before.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was thrilling to witness the growth in Israeli tourism from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. "The United States is the most popular destination for Israel inbound tourism. Actually, prior to the COVID-19 Pandemichit, we were celebrating record breaking numbers of tourism entry each month. This is a positive change that we are happy to see and we anticipate an upward trajectory for years to be."

Canada, not too far behind that of the United States of America, is poised to surpass the number of tourists visiting Israel. It reached 7,200 tourists in July 2022 as well as 6,000 August.

Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada in the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are close to our record numbers for the year 2019. We expect that this trend will continue as Canadians are more active in traveling abroad.

Israel received more than 4.6 million international visitors in the year 2019 and this included 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they have been vaccination-free.  נווה פריצקי Israel has already hosted more than 600,000.
